And forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair.
January is in full swing. New goals are being marked in a journal. That said journal is missplaced or forgotten and February is lurking around the corner. Oh holy cow! This year i am going to focus on several things. Simple little items that will save my sanity, allow me to welcome in down time and continue on my path of being me and greeting each day with what works for me. Maybe you have a list too. I would love to hear what you do to keep your days straight.
one. mark down the big things.
two. say no when it just doesn’t feel right.
three. remind myself that i am getting there.
four. bring color and creativity into my day. every day.
five. purge the old email. less means less weight
six. bring in rest. naps, pedis and calm are allowed.
seven. reach out to friends. sometimes simple conversations can bring in new ideas and just leave you feeling better.
eight. set aside on day a week to do that one thing you hate to do. (for me, it is paperwork)
nine. hit your deadlines. really it will make you feel AWESOME.
ten. allow the weekend to be your days to slow your mind down and prepare for the next week.
bonus: twinkle lights. hang them around the house. twinkle lights make like happy!
I find it so crazy that we set these huge resolutions each year in order to feel good about life. When really what i have found is if i focus day to day, it seems so doable. I see my progress in a much clearer way. So tell me, what works for you.
